Honeymoon in Vegas

Here are a ton of pictures from our honeymoon to Vegas, back in August. We usually forgot to take pictures or didn't want to ask the sketchy people on the streets to take one for us, so the pictures are minimal. Most of them are from Madame Tussaud's wax museum, and then a couple others here and there. We stayed at the Paris hotel and had a great time!

Beyonce showing Wes how to move
Michael Jackson. He probably was more real looking than the other wax people, it was a pretty close representation of him. I wonder why...

Hair cut

So I had been noticing for the past month that I was in major need of a hair cut. I had it cut last in April and my hair grows very fast, so I was definitely overdue. My friend here in Provo cuts hair so I decided I would ask her to do it because she does a really good job. Anyways, long story short, I don't think my hair has ever been this short. The layers are what really get me, because I can't put it half back or anything without pieces falling out all over the place. Wes loves it because I have to leave it down. It is a little bit of a change, but I have never cared much about hair, so it's actually nice having to do it differently than before. It's really easy and cheap because it requires minimal product, and is pretty fast. It definitely looks A LOT healthier, too.
We still have many pictures that need posting, so those will come soon!

Happy Birthday to Wes!!

Yesterday was Wes's 23 birthday! It was a good day. I made him french toast for breakfast, took him to work, and then came home to wrap his gift and get some groceries to make a good dinner. I ended up spending too much time at the grocery store so I didn't have as much time to cook as I planned. Having said that, everything turned out really well and was really good. I made pecan chicken, garlic mashed potatoes, and baked asparagus. It was good. For dessert I made French Silk pie which is Wes's favorite. I was actually really looking forward to making Wes a fancy cake, but he doesn't like cake. The pie was good too. It was a good day.

Wes did about 3 or 4 hours of studying even though it was his birthday.

The potatoes were so smooth-the hand mixer really worked great!

I gave Wes some nice sweaters, a polo, and some socks. I think he really likes everything, especially the argyle sweater. Wes's parents gave us a camera for our birthday presents and we got it testerday. It's really nice, and exciting to have a good camera that works well. Apparently there are a lot of really cool features and photo-shop features on the camera itself...I'll have to learn how to do that stuff.
Anyways, happy birthday Wes! I love you!
